| The Bay of Stagnolu is part of the Golfe de Porto-Vecchio Natura 2000 site. The site is characterized by its shallow depth which is one of the factors allowing different protected seagrasses to grow, such as Cymodocea, Posidonia and Zoostera. Its shallowness also promotes an important dynamic with the Osu River delta that creates brackish zones hosting a species communit such as salt meadows that can be rarely found in corsica. |
