Cap de Creus is a Natural park which was established 1998 in order to protectthe terrestrial and aquatic environment situated at the peninsula in the north-eastof spain. The geomorphology as well as the biological qualities of the natural parkare outstanding and complemented by various historical points of interest in the region. For this reason in the Cap de Creus Natural park the terrestrial area additionally comprises natural Sites of National Interest and integral nature reserves. The marine area features three partial nature reserves: Els Farallons, Cap de Creus and Cap Norfeu. Finally, S'Encalladora was created as integral marine reserve.
